Meet the JAPA Team: a dynamic group of sports professionals dedicated to excellence in youth pickleball.

Roberto Castillo has 18 years of experience in youth sports, including his role as president of Tamiami, South Florida’s largest recreational basketball league. A former PE teacher with a degree in Sports Management, Roberto is now passionate about promoting pickleball for young athletes.

Melvin Guerrero, an expert tennis and pickleball coach, has 22 years of tennis experience and 8 years in pickleball. He tailors his coaching to all ages and skill levels, focusing on fitness and fundamentals, and has traveled globally to work with top youth players.

Jencarlos Canela is a versatile Artist, Actor, Singer, and entrepreneur. Known for his roles in series, movies, and his successful music career, Jencarlos has captivated audiences worldwide. he has ventured into the business world as an owner of The Yards, a prominent space for sports and leisure. His involvement in the pickleball space reflects his commitment to innovation and his drive to create exciting opportunities for athletes. 

 

Olivia Elliott, a professional tennis player from England, is a former Wimbledon Juniors champion and Division 1 athlete. Now the face of Lacoste and Wilson working towards her goals on the court and as an entrepreneur, Olivia is committed to helping others achieve their athletic dreams.
